Kev Sidford

Kev Sidford is a fully certified UIMLA/BAIML international mountain leader and currently he is the Company Secretary for the British Association of International Mountain Leaders Ltd. A resident of Chesterfield Derbyshire, he spends his life immersed in the mountains. He has a wealth of knowledge having lead trips to the Solokhumbu region of Nepal, Canadian Rockies, Taurus Mountains of Turkey, European Alps and the Picos de Europa region of Spain. He has been active in the mountains for 30 years during this time he has conducted location consultancy work for the film Slipstream (1989) and more recently provide equipment consultancy work for Timberland UK. Kev also designs, delivers and assess student performance in a range of advanced skills in adventurous related pursuits for the Combined Cadet and Army Cadet Forces. When Kev is leading in the mountains he meticulously plans strategies for accident prevention based on the analysis of risks associated with adventurous activities always ensuring client safety.
